New York native Mark Platt was given his first camera by his Uncle Buddy at the age of 16. Influenced by the great reportage photographers of the time, he took his camera everywhere.
His passion for photography, which continued during his undergraduate years at Boston University, prompted him to build his portfolio and transfer to the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Today Mark is an accomplished still life photographer known for his skillful and innovative use of light to create compelling images for his clients.
He specializes in the luxury goods,cosmetics and food arenas, creating images that make a direct impact on the viewer.Mark is currently working from a new studio located on the Brooklyn waterfront.
